The history of the Chapelle Saint-Antoine

The Chapelle Saint-Antoine, built in the 1920s, has long been a spiritual pillar for the people of Casteau. This place of worship has welcomed generations of worshippers, and was enlivened by the songs of the Bruyères neighbourhood choir that resounded under its vaults. However, with the passage of time and changes in the community, the chapel lost its use and fell into oblivion.

In 2019, a new page was turned for this historic site when Marie-Rose discovered that the Chapelle was up for sale. Seduced by its timeless charm and potential, she decided to give it a second life.

Driven by the fullness of the premises, she embarked on an ambitious renovation project. With care and respect for the original architecture, she has transformed the Chapelle into a unique wellness centre.
